Overview
SevaTruck of Michigan is at the heart of Aasraa’s work. Through our mobile meal service, we bring freshly prepared meals directly into communities across Metro Detroit, meeting people where they are and serving with dignity and care.
SevaTruck has always been about more than providing a meal. Each route brings together volunteers, community organizations, schools, businesses, and local partners. Those relationships allow us to respond to immediate needs while building connections that continue well beyond a single day of service.
SevaTruck also creates a place for people to serve and lead. Volunteers help prepare meals, organize distributions, coordinate routes, build partnerships, and work alongside the communities we serve. For young people especially, these experiences offer meaningful opportunities to take responsibility, develop leadership, and understand service through action.
At its core, SevaTruck brings people together. Meals open the door, but the relationships, partnerships, and opportunities to serve are what allow the work to grow.
